01 What does Chilean Law 21.719 require from a hotel or tour operator?

Tourism processes personal data on contractual basis (bookings) and sometimes sensitive data (dietary preferences, declared medical conditions). Under Law 21.719 (effective December 2026) they require multi-language privacy policy by purpose, declared legal basis per flow, ARCO workflow with identity verification, RAT registry and, if volume justifies it or special categories are processed systematically, designate a DPO. Companies with international operations must also map GDPR and LGPD.

02 Does aGo integrate with channel managers like SiteMinder or engines like Booking.com?

Not by default. When the project requires it, custom API integration is built. What we do offer by default is a custom multi-language site with a simple booking engine, and the post-booking relationship layer (notifications, AI assistant). If the client already has a channel manager, we integrate it as a specific module.

03 How much does a custom site for a hotel or tourism agency cost?

Reference value: from 80 UF for multi-language site without bookings, from 150 UF if it includes custom booking engine and payment gateway integration (Flow.cl, Transbank, Stripe). Final price depends on actual scope (languages, integrations, scale). After a free 20-minute conversation, we deliver a formal quote in 24 to 72 hours.

04 Can you host the site on infrastructure optimized for seasonal traffic?

Yes. Docker Compose stack runs on aGo-managed VPS (Hetzner, Hostinger, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud). For operators with highly seasonal traffic we evaluate auto-scaling infrastructure on hyperscalers. The project defines the choice, not the other way around.

05 Can you handle international payments and currency conversion?

Yes. Stripe for international payments (card + local currency), Flow.cl or Transbank for Chilean payments. Multi-currency conversion and visualization is built into the storefront. Each gateway has its own client KYC requirements; we accompany you during integration.
